Having called several surf fishing connections, the strongest location recommendation is Rincon Beach near Ventura (Bates Road off of US 101).  Lee Baermann reports that there is a significant Perch bite, along with Corbina and Halibut in the surf zone.

Due to a 4:40am low tide, it'll be an early day.  We'll meet up in the parking lot at 6am.  High Tide is at 10:41am.  Maybe grab some breakfast or early lunch afterwards.

Attached below is the google map of the area.  We will take US 101 to Bates Rd exit, go under the hwy (left) into the park and go turn right into the parking area.  There is a restroom and showers to rinse your gear afterwards next to the parking area.

Let me know if you have any questions!
