Long Leader Class | Dennis Tsuyuki

Many of us spend a lot of time looking, studying, and matching rods, reels, and line.  Yet when we go into a fly shop we say, “Give me 9 foot, 4X leader”.  When we ask for this leader, do we understand how this leader will perform in supporting our fishing style?

In this brief presentation, we will cover dry fly leader construction considerations and how they impact a leader’s performance.  We will also illustrate the benefits of selecting an appropriate leader design for your fishing style.  Hopefully as your skills evolve, you will be able to utilize some of this information to enhance your fishing experience.
