About this event
We’re excited to host the women of PCC for a morning of fishing at Balboa Park, one of Los Angeles’ most well-known urban lakes. We'll be fishing with urban water expert, Lino Jubliano. This outing is the first of two women’s events we’re hosting this summer and is perfect for anyone who wants to fish alongside other women, learn the basics of fishing local waters, or simply enjoy a fun morning outdoors.
If you already have a fly rod, flies, and the rest of your gear, come fish with us at no cost—the more, the merrier!
If you’d like instruction and/or need equipment, registration is $10 for PCC members and $20 for nonmembers.
Our tentative start time is 5:30 a.m. so we can take advantage of the early morning surface bite before rising temperatures push the fish into deeper water. The final start time will be confirmed the week of the event.
Coffee and snacks to be provided.
The outing will last approximately three hours from the start time.
