PCC 2020 Trip Schedule



Local Surf, Southern CA. – Corbina – August 8th (subject to pandemic conditions permitting)
Thanks to the “big pond” to the west, we can fly fish locally, drought or no drought!  The specific beach will be decided as we get closer to the date so as to optimize the fishing experience.

Catalina Island – August 11th (subject to pandemic conditions permitting)
Catalina Island is only a short distance from our shores and offers great fishing for Calico Bass, Bonito, Barracuda, Yellow Tail and more.  We will be fishing aboard the 60’ Triton which launches from LA Harbor Sportfishing in San Pedro.  This is a great way to experience the amazing fisheries right off our shores!

Bob Marshall Trip August 14 - 20, 2020
Bob Marshall Wilderness Fly Fishing Experience with Montana Cheff Outfitters. The Cheff Family have had a long relationship with PCC and we are working with them to put together a PCC trip into "The Bob". This is a trip on may people's Bucket List to fish the South Fork of the Flathead River, home to Western Cutthroat Trout, Bull Trout and Whitefish where a 30-40 fish on the dry fly day is not uncommon. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are prepared for us daily by the designated cook and staff.

This trip is limited to 10 guests and anglers, we are forming an interest list with Matt Cheff, the all inclusive fee is $2650 per person, transportation to and from the trail head is each person's responsibility, contact me for more info as I have been on the trip in the past and will be part of this trip.

West Fork of the San Gabriel River
This Outing is being postponed until the "Safer at Home" order is lifted.

The West Fork is back!  With the resurgence of this local fishery it is time for the PCC to return to it for a club outing.  This is a great trip for beginners, people new to the area and new club members.  It is also great to revisit this place if you haven’t been since the drought.

Women's Fishing Outing in Bishop, CA -

After an amazing Women's Event at the club house, we will be venturing off and getting some hands-on fishing experience without new friends up in the Eastern Sierras!

San Juan River, New Mexico – CANCELLED
Enjoy four days of drift boat angling on this famous water while lodging at the River’s Edge Lodge.  Late June and early July are the best times on this world class tailwater with lots of insect activity with potential dry fly opportunities. The San Juan has over 10,000 fish per mile. The 6 to 18 inch rainbows and browns fat and sassy. 
Date: July 6th to July 11th
Estimated cost: approximately $1100/angler; includes 4 days of guided fishing (9th – 12th) by Sandstone Anglers; 5 nights at River’s Edge Lodge; 3 meals per day on guided days.

Baja, Mexico – October 12 -17 CANCELLED
Join me in Baja to chase Roosterfish, Dorado, Billfish, Tuna, and Wahoo on the fly. Our base of operations will be the lovely Bahia de los Sueños. Located just south of La Paz, Mexico in the southern part of Baja, California, Bahia de los Sueños offers gorgeous accommodations, great food, and of course amazing fishing at your doorstep.

Mono County, CA. – Fall Bite & Colors – October 10 - 11 (subject to pandemic conditions permitting)
A new PCC trip to beautiful Mono County along the Eastern Sierra Nevada during the fall color season.  This is a great opportunity to fish the rivers, streams, and lakes of this region.  Possible rivers including the Upper Owens, Hot Creek, East and West Walker Rivers, as well as float tubing the region’s lakes from Mammoth to Bridgeport.
