Pasadena Casting Club Fly Tying

The Pasadena Casting Club has a long and rich tradition of fly-tying excellence and innovation, and we would of course like to see that continue. To this end we offer resources to encourage members to take up the hobby and make it easy for more experienced fly tyers to keep up with new materials and techniques. Such resources include

·        The annual Beginners’ Fly Tying Class

·        The occasional Intermediate and Advanced Fly Tying classes, and

·        The Fly Tyers’ Roundup, a gathering down at the clubhouse on the first Sunday of each month that sometimes  includes guest tyers, demonstrations of different techniques and often just a relaxing shoot-the-breeze session.

Notifications of these events are posted in the FishTales newsletter and are routinely emailed to all active members of the Club.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact Steve Posner, Fly Tying Chair, at steven.k.posner@gmail.com
