Tenkara Casting Clinic 2017
October 22, 1:00PM to 3:00PM @ The Pasadena Casting Pool

Less is more, right? It is when tenkara fishing. Join PCC member & Kittredge Sports (Mammoth Lakes) Guide Chris Leonard and Tenkara Tanuki owner Luong Tam at the casting pool to experiment a bit with what it's like to cast a reel-less fly fishing rod at this no-cost clinic. Chris and Luong will bring a variety of different lengths for casters to play with. They will also bring with them the opportunity to discuss rigging, lines, technique, and tactics while actually fishing with tenkara rods. This style of fishing that originates from the mountain streams in Japan is becoming more and more popular throughout the fly fishing world. Chris discovered tenkara while in Costa Rica and he continues to tenkara fish in the Eastern Sierra. Luong has tenkara fished all around the world. Loung will have rods available for purchase at this event.

Contact either clinician for more information. Chris Leonard (818) 288-3271. Luong Tam (415) 250-9006.
